Changes

There are some changes here to reflect that we are in the final stages of becoming part of the Order of Jesus Christ, Reconciler as it forms.
We are now a ministry of the Community of the Holy Trinity, which will be the first House of the order as it forms in the next few months.
A brief  historical overview:  Since 2009 the Prior of the Community of the Holy Trinity, Larry Kamphausen became the sole pastor of Reconciler.  At the beginning of 2010 we began a revisioning process, that lead to seeing that the mission of Reconciler and the Community of the Holy Trinity were related and overlapping.  At this time we had already stepped back from doing much else than gathering on Sunday's for worship and having other events and gatherings like Theology on Tap.  In 2011 Larry put forward the idea of an ecumenical religious order emerging out of Reconciler.  In the Fall of 2011 it was agreed that we would begin the process of coming under the care of the community of the Holy Trinity and the emerging religious order.  This past Winter the council was dissolved.  and last week it was agreed that Reconciler as it has existed is no more and Reconciler will function entirely under the direction and guidance of the Community of the Holy Trinity as  a public oratory of that community.

Thus the changes here marking the beginning of a new phase in the history of Reconciler.
